Terms of use
Last updated 22 October 2026
This is a draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and some details are still to be filled in.
What these terms are
Jèrè is run by SOLFLIGH TECH. By creating an account or using Jèrè, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Jèrè is a pilot. That means it is still being tested with a small number of businesses, and it will change as we learn from you.
What Jèrè does
Jèrè lets you record sales, expenses, stock and the money customers owe you, and shows you an estimate of your profit.
The profit figure is an estimate. It is worked out from what you and your team type in: the prices, the costs and the expenses. If something is missing or wrong, the estimate will be wrong too.
Jèrè is not accounting, tax or legal advice. Do not use it as your only record for paying tax, applying for a loan, or settling a dispute without checking the figures yourself.
Your account
- Anyone with an email address can create an account. We may close sign-ups for a while, or remove an account that is misused, if we need to protect the service and the people who use it.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- If you invite a cashier, you decide what they can see. Share an invite code only with that person. Invite codes stop working after 7 days.
- Tell us quickly if you think someone else has got into your account.
Your records
- The business records you enter belong to you. We do not claim ownership of them.
- You are responsible for what you enter, and for making sure it is correct.
- If you add customers' names and phone numbers, you must be allowed to keep them. Only add what you need.
- We use your records only to run Jèrè for you, as explained on our privacy page.
How you may use it
Please use Jèrè only for running your own business, and do not:
- break the law, or record sales or expenses that are not real in order to mislead someone,
- try to see another business's records, or to get around the limits we have set,
- overload, attack or interfere with the service, or try to find weaknesses without asking us first,
- let someone else run your account for a business that is not yours.
If you find a problem in how Jèrè protects information, please tell us instead of using it.
Keeping the service running
- We work to keep Jèrè available, but we cannot promise it will always work or never have mistakes. It may be slow or stop for a while.
- We keep daily backups of the database for 7 days. This is meant to help us recover from a serious problem. It is not a promise that every record can be restored.
- Because of this, please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- We may add, change or remove features, especially during the pilot. If we make a change that affects your records, we will try to tell you first.
Cost
If we start to charge for Jèrè, we will tell you before the charge begins, so that you can choose whether to continue or close your account.
Ending your use
- You can stop using Jèrè at any time. You can download your records and delete your account yourself from the "My data" link in the app. You can also write to us at the email address below.
- We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if the account puts others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why.
- What happens to your records after an account is closed is explained on our privacy page.
What we are and are not responsible for
We will do our best to run Jèrè carefully. But it is provided as it is, during a pilot, and we are not responsible for losses that come from wrong figures you entered, from decisions you make using the estimates, or from the service being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the law that cannot be taken away. If the law says we are responsible for something, we are.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email. Using Jèrè after a change means you accept the new terms.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
